The first generation of "Mrs. Marvel" in the manga was originally named Carol Danvers, who used to be a US Air Force Intelligence Agency agent and had a crush on Mr. Marvel. Afterwards, she gained superpowers and became the "Amazing Lady", a very typical female hero in comics.

She can absorb and control any form of energy, possessing numerous superpowers. Captain Marvel will be Marvel's first film featuring a female superhero as the protagonist.
